THE COMMERCIAL DESIGN EXPERIENCE

From collaboration with your architect to final installation, I’ll be with you through the entire process to make the best selections for your space. Because every commercial project has its own unique parameters, I customize each proposal to include what I think is necessary to achieve your design goals. My simple seven step process allows me to manage all the details so you can focus on the million other details needed to run a business.

CONSULTATION

During your consultation, we’ll discuss your business, brand, and clientele in more detail to get a sense of your project and what is needed to make it all come to life.

CONTRACT + INSTALLMENT

After the consultation, you’ll receive a customized proposal outlining the scope, the estimated design fees, and the timeline for your project. Commercial projects are billed at a flat rate with installments due at specified times.

ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW

I’ll review your architectural plans to make suggestions and adjustments to maximize the layout and design.

FURNITURE PLANS + MOOD BOARDS

Once the blueprints are finalized, I’ll create furniture plans to determine the most functional lay out for your space and mood boards to set the direction for the design aesthetic.

DESIGN PHASE

In the design phase, I refine the layout and select the exact pieces for your commercial space. Once the design details are nailed down, you’ll enjoy a presentation of your space complete with samples, swatches, and additional images to further clarify the design.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT PHASE

When the design is approved, we’ll move into project management phase where I’ll place orders, collaborate with your contractors, and manage all the details to ensure nothing is missed.

INSTALLATION

Once all the work is complete, and furniture and fixtures have arrived, I’ll coordinate all your deliveries and schedule your installation day.
