ORANGE COUNTY RETREAT

Contemporary open concept home for a couple who loves to entertain

Bedroom with soft white colored walls and sepia photographs of France hanging above bed

The couple wanted a space to comfortably host guests while still being durable for their two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. The first floor was gutted to create an open concept, making the space feel bright and airy, despite the lack of natural light. Warm wood tones and black accents grounded the space.

Being in the hospitality industry, the clients needed a space to host large holiday gatherings complete with an expandable table, custom banquette seating and beautiful artwork by Peter Lik.

Pottery and one of a kind pieces from their extensive travels, mixed with modern and industrial elements, provide a curated and layered look for the couple and their guests to enjoy.
