HOW TO MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR EXPERIENCE

We pride ourselves on keeping projects organized while keeping our clients updated every step of the way. This section outlines how we'll communicate throughout your project and what you can expect.

HOURS OF OPERATION

Our standard business hours are Monday through Friday, 9am until 5pm CDT. During these hours you can expect timely responses to your emails and phone calls. Outside of these hours, please anticipate that your messages will be answered during the subsequent hours of operation.

COMMUNICATION

While we provide cell phone numbers for scheduled calls and emergencies, the preferred method of communication is email so everything is stored in one place. Any urgent requests or concerns may be emailed to our office at info@boorandle.com. Please note, we do not use text messages for project related correspondence.

MEETINGS

Depending on what's included in your proposal, we will schedule your meetings in advance. You can do that conveniently through our online scheduler, which you'll receive in your weekly project update emails.

TIMELY FEEDBACK

Timely feedback is crucial to the momentum of the project. When we need feedback on an item, please respond quickly. We never want you to miss out on something you love due to a backordered or discontinued item, and prompt responses keep us ahead of schedule with contractors, if applicable.

PROJECT UPDATES

Throughout your project, we check in with factories, window treatment workrooms, and suppliers, and you can expect a weekly email with regular updates. If an item is backordered, we'll let you know whether it's worth the wait or whether we should reselect. If an item is discontinued, we'll find a replacement you'll love.

THE PROCESS & WHAT TO EXPECT

Beautiful spaces take time to create. Thoughtful consideration is given to each decision and selection to ensure it reflects your style, taste, and personality, and the way you live. Here is how your project will unfold from this point forward.

YOUR HOMEWORK

Set aside about twenty minutes to complete your design questionnaire, which helps us understand your design style and your lifestyle, and gather your inspiration images on your Pinterest board. Your completed homework is due two weeks before your Kick Off Meeting so we can arrive fully prepared.

KICK OFF MEETING

After a quick tour of your home or a review of your architectural plans, we'll dive into your questionnaire, review your inspiration images, and talk through how your spaces need to function. This meeting typically takes thirty minutes to an hour.

MEASURING + INVENTORY

Following your Kick Off Meeting, we'll schedule a time to measure your space, take pictures, and document the details that shape the design, including any existing furniture you'd like considered. This typically takes about ninety minutes, and you don't need to be present.

DESIGN DIRECTION

With measurements in hand, we begin your furniture plans, paint palette, and mood boards, which we review together at your first design meeting.

SOURCING + DESIGN PRESENTATION

Once your design direction is approved, we source furniture, accessories, and window treatments, checking availability, pulling fabrics and samples, and confirming pricing. This concludes with your second design meeting, a full presentation of every item selected for your home. We ask for your approvals within five business days of the presentation so we stay on track. As a reminder, revisions are not included within your estimate of hours and will be billed at the hourly rate. Once you have approved your items and remitted payment, we move into project management. Payment is due in full prior to order placement.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

During this phase it will be a little quieter on our end as we place your orders and confirm all the details with our vendors. You'll receive weekly status updates, so you'll always know what's happening behind the scenes.

INSTALLATION

Installations typically take between two and five days, depending on the size of your project. Window treatments and rugs are installed first, then furniture, art, and styling. Painters and paperhangers complete their work in advance. We encourage clients to be away from home during installation so you can return to a beautiful, completed space.

IMPORTANT DETAILS

FREIGHT CHARGES

Invoices reflect exact or estimated freight charges and may occasionally be adjusted after invoicing should the freight amount change.

LOCAL DELIVERY AND SET UP

A local receiving warehouse is required by certain vendors for the delivery of some upholstery, case goods, and larger or fragile items. The receiver carefully inspects all freight shipments for damage, provides white glove delivery to your home, and places each piece in its proper location. Receiving and installation fees are billed upon completion of delivery if they weren't billed at time of invoice.

PERFECTION

Naturally, we strive for perfection. Having said that, mistakes happen. When flaws are discovered on items ordered by Boo Randle Interiors, we stand behind our manufacturer warranties and work to resolve defects not caused by normal wear and tear. Please notify us as soon as you notice an issue.

RETURNS

All items ordered through Boo Randle Interiors are final sale unless defective. Defective items are handled through the process described above, and we work with the vendor to repair or replace them.

FAQ

CAN I HAVE A PRODUCT SHIPPED TO MY HOUSE?

No. All items ship to our receiving warehouse or our studio, where they are inspected for damage before delivery to your home. This protects your investment and ensures every piece arrives to you in perfect condition. On rare occasions, if an item's timing runs tight against your installation, we may choose to ship it directly to your home, and we'll coordinate the details with you if that happens.

WILL YOU PHOTOGRAPH MY PROJECT?

Yes. As outlined in your contract, we photograph completed full service projects. The images may be used for our portfolio, website, marketing, and social media. We never share your name or your specific address without your permission; at most, we may reference your neighborhood. All images remain the property of Boo Randle Interiors. We'll coordinate with you in advance to schedule a date that's convenient, and depending on the size of your project, photoshoots range from a few hours to a full day or more. If your project is ever considered for publication, we'll talk with you first, and the editor may even want to interview you!

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES?

Items are inspected upon delivery to our office or the receiving warehouse. If damages are found, we work behind the scenes with the vendor to replace or repair the item. If damage is discovered once an item is in your home, notify us right away so we can resolve it in a timely manner.

CAN I KEEP MY CURRENT FURNITURE?

During Measuring + Inventory, we document existing furniture that may work in the final design, with special consideration given to heirlooms and antiques. However, we cannot guarantee the inclusion of existing pieces.

WHAT IF I WANT TO ADD ON TO MY PROJECT?

We would be honored! This tells us you're enjoying the process and trust us with your home. We'll have a conversation about what you want to include and draw up an addendum to your proposal to make it official. Sometimes we can roll right into the new scope; other times there may be a wait to get started.

WHAT’S NEXT

Your welcome email includes your design questionnaire, an invitation to your private Pinterest board, and the link to book your Kick Off Meeting. Your next step is completing and submitting your homework, due two weeks before we meet. Then we'll see you at your Kick Off Meeting, fully prepared to dive into your project.
