HOW TO MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR EXPERIENCE
I pride myself on keeping projects organized while also keeping my clients updated every step of the way. This section outlines how we’ll communicate throughout your project and what you can expect.
HOURS OF OPERATION
My standard business hours are Monday - Friday from 9am until 5pm CDT. During these hours you can expect timely responses to your emails and phone calls. Outside of these hours please anticipate that your messages will be responded to during the subsequent hours of operation.
COMMUNICATION
While I provide my cell phone number for scheduled phone calls and for emergencies, the preferred method of communication is via email so everything is stored in one place. Any urgent requests or concerns may be emailed to my office at info@boorandle.com. Please note, I do not utilize text messages for project related correspondence.
MEETINGS
Depending on what’s included in your proposal, we will schedule your in-person meetings in advance. You can do that conveniently through my online scheduler which I will provide in my project update emails or upon request. While most orders will ship to the receiving warehouse, some small items may ship to my office. In that case, I will happily coordinate delivery to your project.
TIMELY FEEDBACK
Timely feedback is crucial to the momentum of the project. When I need feedback on an item, please respond quickly. I never want you to miss out on something due to a backordered or discontinued item, and I want to make sure we stay ahead of schedule with contractors, if applicable.
PROJECT UPDATES
Throughout your project, I’ll check in with factories, workrooms, and suppliers. You can expect a weekly email with regular updates on your project. In the event of a backordered item, I’ll let you know if I think it’s worth it to wait, or if we should reselect. If an item is discontinued, I’ll find a replacement you’ll love.

THE PROCESS & WHAT TO EXPECT
Beautiful spaces take time to create. Thoughtful consideration is given to each decision and selection to ensure it reflects your style, taste and personality, and the way you live. I’ll provide a timeline for when you can expect your design concept.
DESIGN QUESTIONNAIRE
I recommend setting aside about twenty minutes to complete the questionnaire, which will help me understand your design style and the needs of the project. You’ll find your questionnaire at the end of this document.
MEASURING + INVENTORY
Once I receive your design homework, I will schedule a time to measure your space, take pictures, and inventory your existing furniture (if applicable). This typically takes about 90 minutes. You don’t need to be available for this meeting, as I will be working hard to get accurate measurements of your space.
FURNITURE PLAN + MOOD BOARD(S)
After I have your measurements, I will begin working on your furniture plans. Once we settle on the best layout, I will put together mood boards to show the direction of your design.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT & PRESENTATION
Based on input, needs, and feedback regarding your furniture plans + mood boards, I will prepare your comprehensive design plan for the physical scope of the project. After your presentation(s), I ask that you provide feedback promptly so I can make reselections, if necessary. As a reminder, revisions are not included within your estimate of hours and will be billed at the hourly rate. Once you have approved your items and remitted payment, we’ll move into the project management and procurement phase. Payment is due in full prior to order placement.
PROCUREMENT + PROJECT MANAGEMENT
During this phase it will be a little quiet on my end as I’m working to place your orders and confirm all the details with my vendors. You’ll receive weekly status updates on your project and you’ll always know what’s happening behind the scenes. You will receive timing updates in your weekly emails.
INSTALLATION
It is my policy and intention to complete installation within 1-3 days. I encourage clients to be away from the space on install days to keep the process efficient and on track. Painters and paperhangers will need to do their jobs in advance of furniture, rug, and window treatment installations.
IMPORTANT DETAILS
FREIGHT CHARGES
Invoices reflect exact or estimated freight charges and from time to time may be adjusted after invoiced should there be any changes in the freight amount.
LOCAL DELIVERY AND SET UP
A local receiver dock is required by certain vendors for the delivery of some upholstery and case goods, as well as larger or extremely fragile items. The local receiver carefully inspects all freight shipments for damage, provides white glove delivery to your home, and places each piece in the proper location. These receiving and installation fees will be billed upon completion of delivery, if they weren’t billed at time of invoice.
PERFECTION
Naturally I strive for perfection. Having said that, mistakes happen. When flaws are discovered on items ordered by Boo Randle Interiors, I will stand behind my manufacturer warranties and will work to resolve issues when there are defects not from normal wear and tear. I ask that you notify me as soon as you notice an issue.
RETURNS
All items ordered through Boo Randle Interiors are final sale. In the rare event that the vendor allows returns, there may be restocking and return shipping fees.

FAQ
CAN I HAVE A PRODUCT SHIPPED TO MY PROJECT?
Some of my vendors provide drop shipping for an additional fee. In the event you would like an item shipped directly to you, please let me know immediately so I can check availability and pricing. You’ll be responsible for receiving and inspecting the item and notifying me immediately if there are any defects.
WILL YOU PHOTOGRAPH MY PROJECT?
Yes, I love photographing my projects. For commercial projects, I typically coordinate with the architect, contractor, and business owner, so that we are able to split the photography fees. I try to have the space photographed immediately after final installation. I’ll notify you in advance so we can schedule a date that is convenient for you. Depending on the size of your project, photoshoots can be a few hours to a full day or more.
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES?
Items are inspected upon delivery to my office or to the receiving warehouse. If damages are found, I’ll work behind the scenes with the vendor to replace or repair the item. If damages are discovered once your item is in your space, notify me right away so we can work to resolve the issue in a timely manner.
WHAT IF I WANT TO ADD ON TO MY PROJECT?
I would be honored! This tells me you are enjoying working with me and trust me with your design needs. We’ll have a conversation about what you want to include and will draw up an addendum to your contract to make it official. Sometimes we can roll right into the new project; other times there may be a slight wait to get started.
WHAT’S NEXT
Once I’ve received your questionnaire, I’ll reach out to schedule your measurement and inventory meeting.
Thank you again for choosing Boo Randle Interiors. I can’t wait to get started!
